Kim delaPena is a seasoned entrepreneur, event producer, and nonprofit leader with more than 25 years of experience organizing large-scale events across Texas and the U.S. Her portfolio includes job fairs, community festivals, pet adoption events, survival expos, consignment sales, and more. She began her career in media with Hearst Newspapers, where she launched their first employment marketing department, the first ever live job fairs for Hearst and trained teams across major metro markets how to run them. In 2010, Kim later founded Job Fairs Now, a national recruitment event company that produced hiring events for clients such as Nabors Drilling, Schlumberger, and Halliburton.

In 2023, Kim founded Prosperity Employment Outreach, a Midland-based nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals overcome employment barriers through mentoring, resume assistance, digital and hands-on skills training, and job advocacy. The organization also maintains a large women’s clothing closet offering designer brands, shoes, and accessories to help clients feel confident and job-ready. Kim serves as Executive Director and leads the nonprofit with a mission to deliver practical, people-first solutions that promote long-term employment and stability across West Texas. She co-founded Two Threads Consignment Events, with partial proceeds benefiting Prosperity Employment Outreach’s and other nonprofits in West Texas.

Jade Davis is a staff writer and lifestyle contributor at Midland Times, known for her unique blend of analytical thinking and creative storytelling. With a professional background in finance, Jade brings structure, strategy, and business insight to every project she touches. Her passion for storytelling and visual detail led her to launch her own photography business, where she specializes in capturing candid moments, portraits, and special events with a thoughtful and artistic approach.

Recently engaged, Jade has found herself drawn deeply into the world of weddings—and it has quickly become more than just personal. From dresses and décor to planning timelines and bridal fashion trends, she has developed a keen eye for everything that makes a wedding both beautiful and meaningful. Her growing love for bridal fashion, vintage gowns, and curated aesthetics has become a creative outlet and new career focus.

Jade will serve as the Bridal Editor for Two Threads Consignment Events, overseeing the bridal section with a focus on elegant wedding gowns, bridal accessories, and fashion-forward finds. She combines her passion for clothing, photography, and event design to create a curated shopping experience for brides and bridal parties. Whether she’s writing a feature on a West Texas wedding, capturing a styled shoot, or helping brides find their dream dress at a Two Threads event, Jade brings a thoughtful, modern, and personal perspective to every role she fills.
